What started from a $7000 gift that Mr. Kitumba and Mr. Mpoyo received in 2005 is now becoming a reality - the Kamina Congo (DRC) Orphanage Project.   Purchased property is currently being developed, which started with the construction of a eight-foot high solid brick security wall.   Thanks to God and your generosity, we have just completed this first phase of the Orphanage (in early 2008).

Now that the security wall is completed, the Orphanage is being built in phases, using small "pods" of huts for 6-8 children (with a house parent) for housing, eating, schooling and Biblical Christian training.   Once each pod is complete, another will begin construction...

Meanwhile, as the wall and the pods are being completed, we are working to keep the 84+ orphans alive by providing basic food, clothing and education.   As each pod is completed, children will be moved to their new homes, on site.    Glory to God!
